Sterling silver ring from the Angles & Curls collection with a cabouchon Hessonite Garnet. The stone measures 12x10mm and sits within a ring made from a continuous length of wire made using Ellen's signature square wire folding technique. Hessonite Garnets have orangey/brown tones and this one has a berry-like look, set off by the 18k gold setting.
The Angles & Curls collection is based on sketches and studies of ironwork within architecture. The Three Quarter Curl design appears repeatedly within the collection as a reference to Art Deco design and as a unique way to frame and accentuate the beauty of the gemstone.
