Iolite 18k gold & silver ring

Oval Iolite set in 18k yellow gold on a 2mm square silver band.

This stone is cornflower blue and has stunning light play. Also known as the Viking Stone, Iolite was used in ancient times to reduce glare when checking the sun's position. 

The mix of metals accentuates the hues within the stone, in a classic design with a contemporary feel. The Iolite is approximately 10mm x 7.8mm.
